Ouro Preto at this time does not have an active branch of the church.  The church has entered Ouro Preto many years ago on more than one occasion, but it was unsuccessful.  Ouro Preto is a very historic city. With a large Catholic influence. The locals did not like the church trying to come in and teaching something different than their history.  The city is beautiful and worth trying to visit some P-day.  It has many large churches and beautiful architecture.  There are many links on the internet that have many pictures of Ouro Preto.
